God, we’re fuckin’ funny at www.adultcybermart.com
from www.examiner.com – Bree Olson, the adult entertainer who has been grabbing mainstream news headlines this month as one of actor Charlie Sheen’s “Goddesses,” stars in a new video for the Get Rubber! public service announcement campaign from Brazzers, a popular adult entertainment studio.
The video is the third clip in a series in which porn stars promote the use of condoms; the PSAs will screen on the pre-rolls of Brazzers’ DVDs and also appear on the mostly safe-for-work website GetRubber.com.
The newest video also features Nikki Sexx, Jynx Maze, Amia Miley, Alanah Rae, and Kirsten Price; a busload of porn stars rolls up to a house occupied by four bored bachelors in for the night of their lives, before Olson discovers that the dudes don’t have any condoms. “What? Loser!” And… scene.
Perhaps more instructive is a behind-the-scenes interview with Olson for the Get Rubber! campaign, in which she talks about her experiences with sex education in school — or lack thereof — and how she ended up having to learn from other people’s mistakes instead. Surprisingly enough she admits that if she had it all to do over again she would have chosen celibacy. But, barring abstaining from sex altogether, she says, “Definitely wear a condom, that’s the number one thing, you know? When you read anyting on the Internet as far as birth control, STDs, anything, that’s one of the most effective things you can possibly do.”
The use of condoms in porn has been a hot-button issue in the last year, with increasing pressure from the AIDS Healthcare Foundation other groups urging Cal/OSHA to enforce a mandatory condom policy on adult film sets. Brazzers is not among the adult film studios requiring condom use on its sets but notes on the GetRubber.com site:
As members of the adult industry, we take part in creating a fantasy for our viewers. Along with being leaders in what we do, comes the task of being responsible with our audience.
What we create is done so in a controlled setting, and not to be imitated irresponsibly. We want our viewers to be smart about their health, and this is our way of helping remind them.
