Sexy Chanel writes: Please help, I am the escort SexyChanel of sexychanel.com, I have been threatened with a lawsuit by Chanel Inc., the perfume empire.
I have the emails and threatening legal documents to prove this. They demand that I give them my domain http://www.sexychanel.com for Free. This negotiation commenced last November 2003. Chanel Inc.'s lawyers agreed that if I change my name from Sexychanel to Sexychanelle that they would be satisfied with that and go away, and that i could forward my old domain sexychanel.com to sexychanelle.com..
Well I made all the changes promptly, including a change in the look and feel of the perfume bottle on my site, and they approved all the changes. Now they have changed their minds and want to steal my domain name sexychanel.com and sexychanelle.com. and take any and all profits I made as an escort.
I rightly own sexychanel.com and have spent over $15,000 on designing my site and have 200,000 unique hits, and repeat clientele. I am not giving that away for Free! They are simply trying to destroy another escorts business.
Please help, I need donations to my legal defense fund so I can obtain a trademark lawyer to fight this giant Chanel inc. They have said they are serving me this week and I have only 30 days to respond with a defense.
Here is my blog about this matter http://sexychanellegaldefensefund.blog-city.com/ feel free to add to it if you wish.here is the claim letter http://www.sexychanelle.com/claim.html they sent me on September 1, 04

Dear Ms. Richards, Further to your e-mail of August 30, 2004 indicating that you will need an additional 30 days to complete your proposal, this is unsatisfactory. Please find below the Statement of Claim which we will recommend to our client be filed in the Federal Court of Canada and served upon you if we do not receive your said proposal by the close of business on September 8, 2004.
