This law enforcement agency is tasked with fighting internet-based obscenity as well as child pornography, and the photos appearing on Media TakeOut definitely fall under the obscene category.

FBI agents in the Adult Obscenity Squad in Washington, D.C. investigate internet obscenity. After relying on the fine men and women at the Department of Justice’s Obscenity Prosecution Task Force to let them know if what they uncovered should be investigated, FBI agents get to it.

Rex Ryan’s wife Michelle, previously outed as the alleged woman in some “Pretty Feet” videos, according to Dead Spin and the New York Post, has now been named allegedly as the woman in some online porn pictures. But this doesn’t necessarily mean the FBI is on the case.

Internet obscenity isn’t uncommon and the FBI can’t investigate every case of it, of course, choosing to corral their main efforts in combating online child obscenity and online child porn–the effort known as “Innocent Images”.

But the NY Jets coach’s wife’s obscene online images (if it is really her) could warrant federal investigation, especially if it turns out that blackmail of any sort is involved.

NY Jets coach Rex Ryan, and his merry band of alleged misfits (as some are now want to call them)–including Sal Alosi, who was fined $100,000 for purposefully tripping Seahawks player Nolan Carroll and former Jets player Brett Favre, who was fined $50,000 in the Brett Favre/Jenn Sterger sex scandal case–have definitely garnered enough attention on the World Wide Web to cause the FBI and the Department of Justice to have a looksee at the NFL team.

Workplace sexual harassment is a big thing at the Department of Justice, and the Brett Favre/Jenn Sterger case isn’t really “resolved” yet, with Sterger’s father letting that be known loud and clear when he said Brett Favre better not “meet him in a dark alley.”

Then there is the obscene online images of Rex Ryan’s wife allegedly making a bold debut on the heels of the odd feet-fetish videos on the web. And the images don’t appear to be something the Ryans even want to come out as denying to the public at large, adopting a uniform “It’s a personal matter,” statement when approached.

Foot fetish may seem like a mild perversion but in Michigan Ben Walcott, a football coach at a youth camp, had the same sexual leaning and it landed him in a court of law, eventually culminating in his arrest and imprisonment for crimes against youth under his care. So sexual perversions can–and do–sometimes see their way into U.S. courts.

In regards to the silence on the issue at hand by the NFL, Rex Ryan and his wife, FBI investigations do tend to cause investigated people to clam up and not make public disclosures for fear of harming their case or the feds investigation. Likewise, Department of Justice sanctioned investigations into online obscenity and x-rated material revealed due to blackmail can halt public talk, too.
