She took some time to let me pick her pretty little brains a little about this highly anticipated gore fest, a few other things she’s working on and some convention stops (I’ll see you at Horrorhound Chromeskull). Brian S – First off how did you get into acting?

Angelina Armani – I started off with runway modeling back in New York. Then I moved to Los Angeles at nineteen years old aspiring to be an actress. It was something I always wanted to do. Things just started falling into place for me.

Brian S – Angelina you have made the jump from the adult film world to the horror genre. How did this happen?

Angelina Armani – Well I’ve always been a huge fan of horror films and really wanted to act in them. People kind of pulled me into that direction so that’s where I landed.

Brian S – Will you juggle both adult film and “mainstream” horror genre films?

Angelina Armani – It’s out now but Gorezone was the first to get the exclusive mentioning that I am no longer doing adult films. I will still be a guest at the conventions since that’s where my fan base started for me. This year I will be signing at many horror conventions as well.

Brian S – You’re in Rob Hall’s Chromeskull: Laid To Rest 2, what can you tell me about the film?

Angelina Armani – The story line takes place three months later after from the original Laid To Rest. Tommy is really struggling with his best friend’s death and he goes missing. Chromeskull also has his sights set on a new girl, and after she disappears, detectives rush to save her and Tommy before it’s too late.

Brian S – How the heck does Chromeskull get up after taking that acid mask bath to the face in the first one?

Angelina Armani – You’re just going to have to wait and watch it. 🙂

Brian S – Tell me a little about your character.

Angelina Armani – My character is a detective who doesn’t necessarily “go by the book” and runs into trouble as she has to face ChromeSkull.

Brian S – Now tell all of our horror readers who all is in this movie. The cast is a who’s who of well knowns!

Angelina Armani – The cast of ChromeSkull is definitely an upgrade from the last cast as far as names. The cast includes Brian Austin Green (“90210″, “The Sarah Connor Chronicles”), Thomas Dekker (A Nightmare on Elm Street 2010, “The Sarah Connor Chronicles”), Danielle Harris (Rob Zombie’s Halloween, Hatchet 2), Owain Yeoman (Troy, “The Mentalist”), Gail O’Grady (“NYPD Blue”), Nick Principe (Hatchet 2, Madison County), and more.

Brian S – What kind of director is Robert Hall? Hardcore slave driver or laid back and let y’all just do your thing?

Angelina Armani – He’s a director that knows what he wants and easily expresses his vision so the cast can act it out. He isn’t a slave driver, but I wouldn’t say he’s laid back either.

Brian S – I hear the kills and FX in this have passed the first film which were sick as freakin hell. Is this true?

Angelina Armani – They definitely passed the first one. Rob Hall promises twice as many kills with double the blood. It’s what he spends the most time on so it looks pretty awesome for the audience to watch.

Brian S – Are there any twists or surprises you can share?

Angelina Armani – Haha, I’m not giving it away. I like your humor and at least your honest 😉

Brian S – Is Nick Principe intimidating when he’s in his Chromeskull mask?

Angelina Armani – Actually he’s so lovable. We have the greatest time on set. The best is when he starts talking to you in a conversation and forgets that his mask is on. His body expression just doesn’t match the killer mask. I have the best pictures of him eating lunch and sipping orange juice with Donald Duck on the cover of the container as blood is slowly making its way down his face.

Brian S – Best memory of making this film?

Angelina Armani – It’s still so fresh in my head and I think about everything. I loved all of it.

Brian S – Stepping away from Chromeskull for a second, tell me a little about my pal Joe Hollow’s Bloodstruck and your role in it.

Angelina Armani – I play a girlfriend of someone I was accused of cheating on and watch him go insane in the film. It was pretty intense and emotional but I enjoyed it.
