Porn Valley- In postings from our conversation with Amber Lynn about the We Are The World XXX shoot, a benefit for the ailing Henri Pachard, she told us about what led to the project and how some people assured her she’d fail.

Then she talked about some of the drama, particularly with Michael Ninn who had a falling out with Spermint Rhino which forced him, reluctantly, to withdraw from the project.

Lynn had also hoped to choreograph a scene involving her, Ginger Lynn and Amber Lynn. But, in more drama, Ginger Lynn backed out of the project claiming a family emergency. Instead, Amber and Porche did the scene without her.

“There was a scene with me and Porche where Porsche does authentic bondage because she does that,” says Amber. “She’s a Dom and has a dungeon in Arizona. I said to her I wanted this in the scene. I can be a Dom and I can be a Submissive.”

“In my relationship with Jamie Gillis I was very submissive,” Amber relates.

“I said I’d like to be able to do things that are unexpected from what people see me as. I said to Porsche you do your Dom scene and this is what I want it to look like. She did a beautiful job. It’s really hot. They tie me to a rack.”

With the absence of the Michael Ninn scene, Lynn says she’s been going back and forth with Candida Royalle about the possibility of including one from her.

“That was the reason why it was necessary for that orgy to go off without a hitch,” says Lynn. “I needed every single scene. I needed everything I could get out of that because I had lost one of the directors.”

“So John Stagliano came on and did a Buttman-thing the first day,” she continues. “Buttman is how he comes in and he hijacks somebody’s ass. You kind of get his view of what’s going on with the production. Basically he’s hijacking on to my ass. Then Manuel Ferrara comes in. The idea is that I have this girl that I’m saving for John in a cage out back in the alley. So we put this toilet in it and I wanted to do this Henri Pachard-style of scene.”

“People kept saying to me, Amber, you’re nuts. You can’t do this thing. This is what Henri Pachard would do. Basically I knew everyone expected me to be in the fluffy scene with the beautiful dresses for Brad Armstrong and Wicked. I said I want to go in the opposite direction. I want to get into the dirty scene that’s out back in the alley and in the dirt with Manuel Ferrara.”

“Manuel said I want to do the scene with you. I’m a big fan. I guess Manuel Ferrara was a big fan of porn in Europe before he was a porn star. So he said he always wanted to work with me. I had heard his name- I didn’t really know- because I had just come back in December. So when he walked on the set, I was, like, you got to be kidding me. Absolutely. Let’s go play in the dirt together. The kid is beautiful.”

But when Lynn told Stagliano what she wanted to do with a girl in the cage out back, he told her she was out of her mind.

“At first he was, like, I want to do this little scene with you and Manuel,” says Lynn.

“I said, no, let’s go outside and do it like this. Then I showed him the cage and the toilet. Once he got workin’ he said, I get it. Let’s do it. Let’s just have fun with it. It was the best scene. It as just unbelievable. I’m still working on it a little bit because at one point the girl was locked in the cage, and I’m thinking the last thing we want to do is get busted for obscenity. And I know John’s got problems in that area and I’m going, okay. What are we going to do with this?”

“Then we did all this stuff with Ron Jeremy and Georgina Spelvin in the bar, and we shot the scene with Ron Jeremy. The scene with Ron Jeremy and the two young girls [Anna Mills and her friend Kandy] is brilliant. It’s supposed to be a self-directed scene and he’s so incredible. He does an amazing job with the scene.”

Lynn talks about how they were 30 seconds from the pop in the orgy scene when she got a call from the studio’s owner Brett Bereny.

“He said I’ve got to close you down. I cannot give you another minute here. I said Brett all I need is 30 seconds and I’ll wrap. He said, okay, done. That’s it.”

“The only thing we have to do now is go to Larry Flynt’s office and get the shot of him. Then we’re going to shoot the box and go to post.”

“I want it released in the next six weeks so we can get that revenue stream going over to the Pachards.”

“This thing was insane and every single part to the movie was absolutely 100% donated,” she adds. “I raised the money for the permit and insurance at Erotica LA selling posters. And every piece of service was donated.”

When the matter was first brought up, Pachard told Lynn he wanted her to direct it.

“It was Paul Fishbein who said you can’t produce, direct and star. It’s going to fail in your lap and everyone’s going to blame you. And that really lit a fire under my ass. I was like, on my God. I was thinking can I make it through this? Until the last minute I wasn’t really sure.”

Now looking back on it Lynn states, as we all know, that you’ll get paid a lot of lip service with little actual revenue to show.

“In this business people will yes you,” she declares. “I’ve got your back! You know this. Then you turn around and go, hey, hey, where did you go? Oh, fuck you. I’ve been up all night or they don’t show up. It’s different when you’re on a set and holding somebody’s pay check hostage. They don’t have a choice but to stay or stay quiet. But when you know when your friend’s dying of cancer, you say to these people I can’t let you do that to me this time. So a lot of it was about holding up all these different ends including when Jane Waters looked at me and said I gotta go- my wife.

“I said I know, but we may not make it through this. He said, you know what? If anyone can do this, you can. Just keep going. And we’ll worry about what you didn’t get at the end.”

Lynn said if her eyes looked like they were spinning around in circles, trust her, she was feeling it.

“At the same time that was the energy that allowed me to get it to the other side,” she reflects.

“But it was fucking awesome! I got everything in this. My experiences in life have taught me that I have a very twisted sexuality. People were, like, hey, you can’t put a transsexual in this. I’m like I have a transsexual in this movie, fuck you! It’s We Are the World, and in the word of porn there’s transsexuals.”

The funny part about all this, recalls Lynn, is that the transsexual started out being crew.

“But Chi Chi LaRue had to hop a plane and get to London and didn’t get to do the walk-through, she took it over,” Lynn explains. “I wound up with a real one doing the shot.”

“She came up to me and said I want to do this. I said good and I put her in one of my dresses and did the shot. I was like at the end how can I close this movie and give it something really special? And because she had come out, Jimmy Broadway- he’s like a Fem-Dom guy- came over to me and said I want to be in this, too. I said what do you want to do?

“He goes I want to do a Fem-Dom scene. I said perfect and he’s being led off the stage by one of my talent, a deaf girl who was in the orgy scene. [Savannah Jane].

“She could not take direction by talking to her. I had to literally get on my knees and clap my hands and wave in her face, get her attention and then give her the direction by doing it that way. It doesn’t have the monkey cam like my brother would use.”

“Unfortunately my brother was not one of the directors,” she laughs. “He’s working on building a very big studio right now and I had wanted him to be one of the directors of the show. But since it was a no-budget, we couldn’t have helicopters in the shots. My brother wasn’t interested in doing it. He only does things that he gets to do his way.”

Lynn says there will be a party to coincide with the movie’s release. And She’s working on a six week deadline but still has to go to Larry Flynt’s office and get him in the shot.

“I wanted Larry Flynt from the beginning and Larry Flynt’s going to play God,” says Lynn.

“I was also told you’re not going to get Larry Flynt. And I walked right into Larry Flynt’s office, made an appointment with him. I said this is what I’m doing, will you do this for me? He said absolutely.”

“And P.T. shoots his scene on July 1st,” she adds. “It’ll just be dropped in, and in the interim we’re shooting the box and doing the sleeveing.

“I really want Ron to see this release,” she adds. “He said to me, even if I don’t make it, I want to be able to know that I’ve left something in legacy for my family and my wife.”

“It may not be that much, but that’s why we want to give it a really good push and try to make it as much as it can be,” says Lynn. “

At least he can have the peace that he’s left something behind. So we’re trying to set up as many avenues of revenue as we can so that he has that. All his finances have been depleted from this ongoing battle that he’s had with his health.”

Lynn is just hoping that the adult press will get behind the project and push it. Lynn was also told that AVN would put up for all the advertising to make the project go.
