SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. Records show that Scottsdale city lawyers began working on tougher strip club laws months before Jenna Jameson's partial purchase of Babe's Cabaret became public.
That would undercut the adult-film mogul's claim that the new regulations target her.
Calendar entries from City Attorney Deborah Robberson and an assistant city attorney, state that on June 10th the pair met with a lawyer with extensive experience defending sexually oriented business ordinances.
The Tribune reports the records appear to contradict the main contention behind Jameson's attorneys' threat to sue Scottsdale for discrimination.
