It will presumably not play out well for Katie if she faces a battle with her estranged husband Peter Andre over custody of their children.

Andre is currently in Cyprus with his brother Michael and it remains unclear who is looking after the feuding pair’s children.

Katie’s advisers have become increasingly concerned about the former glamour model’s ‘battered profile’ and have ordered the 31-year-old to stay away from alcohol.

But the model appears to be taking little heed of the advice.

She recently insisted that her relationship with Reid is not a publicity stunt.
