Porn Valley- Legend Video has it all wrong. It had the true candidate for governor in its stable years ago. And I'm talking about Kid Vegas. Could you imagine the p.r. stampede that a Vegas gubernatorial campaign could generate? But, unfortunately, Vegas is currently in jail- a minor technicality when you're attempting to establish credibility.http://adultfyi.com/read.aspx?ID=12286

Kid Vegas, aka Scott Austin, called me Wednesday afternoon and gave me a statement that he wanted read at the AVN awards.

"I'm hoping that someone could read it at the awards," he said.

Vegas' statement reads as follows:

"To all my friends - people in the adult industry, co-workers, talent, directors, web masters and distributors. I Kid Vegas aka Scott Austin have been falsely accused of ridiculous crimes regarding sex in a small town north of Las Vegas. These crimes I'm accused of, I say are ridiculous because I have worked as talent, directing and producing videos for over six years. Not only that, my job before these allegations was to find girls in Las Vegas for content for websites while also working as talent.

"Anyone that knows me, knows these crimes are just not possible for a man of my status. I was a two-time AVN award winner, one-time XRCO award winner and have been nominated over ten times for various other categories and different awards in the adult industry. I have worked for companies directing such as Legend Video, Extreme Associates, Smash Pictures, Fat Dog Productions and, formerly, Cream Entertainment and several others- also working for many others as talent.

"I've burnt bridges, pulled pranks and been a nuisance at times but strictly for media attention which was to get videos reviewed and sold and into the spotlight; entertain and make money. That is what I was taught and told by my creators of my character. I never tried to hurt anyone physically or mentally. And if anyone was hurt, mentally, I'm sorry.

"I am a good person and I've worked with and hired people in need. I am asking for the industry as a whole to stand behind your people for a change to prove that the industry is just like the music industry or the mainstream movie industry in gaining the respect of others, the government, news media and defending one of your own- me.

"Due to these changes my life has diminished. I've lost a full time position as talent, cameraman and talent scout. My apartment and car got repossessed. I've had a CTW revoked which is a conceal to carry weapons taken away from me in the state of Nevada. A lawyer stole $4,000 from me and withdrew from my case. Two public defenders withdrew from my case because of conflict of interest. Two judges withdrew from my case because of conflict of interest. The judge refuses to remove my case and my boss has turned his back on me even though he knew I was innocent even after making a promise to me in my face to help me out with some money.

"Please, if anyone can help me, donations can go to Scott Austin Defense Fund @ PO Box 147, Glencoe, California 95232."

Vegas said all correspondence can also be sent to this address.

According to Vegas, the boss who turned his back on him is Anthony Jabali of Allnet Media which is based out of Santa Monica.

"He's the owner of netvideogirls.com; californiapimp.com; and theycallus.com," says Vegas. "And he's the original owner of punkrock.com."

Vegas' present attorney is Robert Weatherford who is based out of Las Vegas.

Vegas was recently extradited from Niagara County Jail in New York and is currently back in the state of Nevada. All legal questions would have to go to his lawyer but questions in general can be directed to 818-388-3822
