ST. CHARLES, Missouri – Police are looking for a man with a painted face who robbed an adult video store at gunpoint early this morning.

Lt. Donovan Kenton of the St. Charles Police Department said the man walked into the Pure Pleasure adult video store in the 1800 block of Old Highway 94 South about 4:15 a.m., pointed a pump-action shotgun at the clerk and demanded money.

The clerk complied, and the man left with an undisclosed amount of cash, Kenton said.

The man had a gray hooded sweatshirt pulled tight around his face, which was painted white, Kenton said. The suspect is in his early to mid-30s and has a reddish goatee.

Police plan to release photos and/or video of the suspect shortly.
