Max Hardcore writes: God damn right I’m upset. In spite of the considerable challenges facing our industry – from declining DVD sales, an oversaturated internet – and now a full-fledged attack by the federal government, there remain a few bitter blowhards within our midst. Instead of pursuing positive goals, they spend their days demeaning others. Latest on this list of losers is someone called Benherover.
Frankly, I’m amazed Gene Ross even reprinted this rubbish, without calling to get my side of the story. In his defense, Gene claims it’s like one newspaper quoting another. C’mon Gene, your site is occasionally informative and every so often it’s entertaining, but it’s not the Washington Post.
I hadn’t heard of Benherover, so I did a lookup and here’s what I found: he’s absent on AVN, undetectable to XBIZ, invisible at IMDB, and unseen by SearchExtreme. He does purport to own a pay site, and may be telling the truth. When I checked it out, there were inoperative links and missing pages.
I do know Jenna James however, the object of his obsession. She’s a hot babe with a bright future who recently relocated to L. A. As most people know, my scenes tend to be pretty tough, especially for an inexperienced actress. Yet Jenna performed perfectly, excelling in everything we asked of her. She’s also owns a GPS-equipped truck, so she gets to work on time. I recommend Jenna James for any kind of work without hesitation.
Benherover seems to believe people care what he thinks, and considers it crucial to regurgitate the unsupported statements of a registered sex-offender. Without any proof whatsoever, he claims Jenna was trying to ‘set up’ a director who was shooting without a permit, and will ‘try to get you (other producers) sent to jail.’
His allegations also perpetuate the slanderous slur that I became a police informant, evidently to help me in my legal battle with the Justice Department. That’s some pretty strong stuff. Unfortunately for him, he can’t prove any of it. And that, my fellow film makers, may prove to be a costly mistake indeed.
