From www.pwtorch.com- Former WWE wrestler Roddy Piper [pictured left] is starring in an upcoming movie called "Fancypants" about a pro wrestler who's afraid of conflict in real-life.
"He bashes heads in the ring, and he's scared of old ladies that startle him in the supermarket," says Humble Pie Films producer Daniel Hanson. "It's a comedy/drama and a tale of redemption."
The movie was filmed in Chicago and the production team from Humble Pie Films is completing production before the movie premieres in theaters later this year, possibly as early as August.
Humble Pie recently filmed some wrestling scenes at a Lucha Libre show in Los Angeles. The production team is now working on visual effects and creating the music soundtrack to the movie.
