from www.opposingviews.com - New York City police are looking for a woman who they say is the Number 2 madam at a brothel in Manhattan.
On Monday charges were announced against Anna Gristina, accused of running a prostitution ring that catered to millionaires. She is currently being held on $2 million bail.
But police say Gristina had a right-hand woman who helped her build her business -- 30-year-old Jaynie Mae Baker -- and they woukd like to have a little chat with her.
The New York Daily News reports that Baker works as a recruiter for an upscale dating service. Her boss there is stunned.
"I’ve known her for years and she seemed like a sweetheart," said VIP Life founder Lisa Clampitt. "She’s very sweet. She’s very social. She’s always going to charity functions."
The newspaper says that it is believed Baker is in Los Angeles helping her sister get settled in a new apartment.
