Porn Valley- Peter Kinsler, who used to operate a one-stop, calls me Thursday night upset over comments made about him recently by The Grand Vizier – all in connection with the passing of Lenny Friedlander.
“Someone called me Monday morning informing me of his death,” says Kinsler. “But getting to the point, someone wrote on your website that it would have been better if it had been Peter Kinsler. Is there any way of defending against this? At least be a man and say who you are. It just doesn’t make sense to me. Everyone has an opinion, but that’s a terrible thing to say.”
“I’m not a physical person,” Kinslet continues. “I’m not going to beat up this person.”
Kinsler had his own opinions about who TGV might be.
“It’s Rob Spallone- I’m sure it was him,” states Kinsler. “But let him be a man and say so. This is a terrible thing to say upon someone’s death.”
“I knew Lenny before California,” Kinsler continues. “Since the Brooklyn days. He was not a kid- just a couple years older than me. I was very upset by the news. Very upset. But for someone to throw out a comment like that, a slur like that, let him be man enough to say who it is. That’s some slur. I don’t wish death on one of my worst enemies.”
Kinsler notes that he he’s been out of the business for at least eight or nine years.
“You’re in Vegas now?”
“I’m between here and Las Vegas<‘ says Kinsler. “I used to live out here. Again, this gives me no chance. What kind of human being would make a slur like that? How about a retraction. Be a man!”
While Kinsler’s willing to concede he may have left “a few enemeies” in the business, at the same time, he says he’s done right by his friends in it.
“One of the dearest friends I’ve had in the business, I spent a week with him- he didn’t want to stay at The Venetian with his company, he wanted to stay with me. Another friend of mine was at The Bellagio at my expense. I got him and his wife a beautiful penthouse at The Bellagio. Complimentary.”
Kinsler brings up the point that no matter who you name in the business, there are people who will or will not care for them.
“But to hide behind a pseudonym is like a child,” he says. “I deserve to know who my accusers are. But to bring this up on the day of a guy’s death…”
Kinsler also mentions that he’s been ill recently and has had heart problems.
“I just got out of the hospital ten days ago,” he says.
