SACRAMENTO -- An event organizer who helped put together the Porn Star costume bar that several on- duty firefighters attended, spoke with Fox 40 Friday about what he saw that night.
Event Coordinator Robert Ramirez says, "They put themselves in a situation and they shouldn't have been there."
The fire storm continues for the Sacramento Fire Department now, two weeks after members from Station 20 showed up at a racy costume ball, dubbed the "Porn Star Party,' while still on duty.
This event organizer not only escorted the firefighters into the Radisson Hotel's Ballroom for what he thought, was a safety inspection, but he also kept an extra eye on the crew through the night.
Robert Ramirez says, "A lot of the strippers were trying to entice them, especially since they're men in uniform."
And while on the clock, Robert Ramirez claims one fireman had a drink, while another flirted, with a particular 24 year old.
Sgt. Justin Risley, Sacramento Fire Department says, "She indicated she was a victim of sexual assault involving a fire department employee."
Robert Ramirez says, "I was very shocked that she could make that allegation after seeing what I did."
Ramirez still puts much of the blame on the firefighters, simply for being at the party, but as for what he saw -- he claims it was the alleged victim instigating everything.
Ramirez says, "She grabbed the right hand of the fireman and put it on her right breast and put it on top and had him squeeze and she said, 'you think these are real?'"
As the fire department continues its own investigation, the criminal matter is now at the District Attorney's office. The police department handed over its file only recently and now a decision should come down sometime next week, whether to charge one of sacramento's fire fighters with sexual assault.
