HOPKINS CO., KY from www.wfie.com – A Hopkins County business owner is arrested after a raid last week.
Jo Ann Warner is the owner of Dusty’s Adult World in Morton’s Gap.
Last week, Kentucky State Police say they raided the business because they suspected she was selling salvia.
Salvia is synthetic marijuana that’s illegal in Kentucky.
After the raid, Warner stated her innocence in an interview with 14 News.
On Monday morning, KSP went to Warner’s Marion, KY home and arrested her.
She’s in the Hopkins County jail, charged possession of drug paraphernalia (79 counts), prohibited practices concerning substances that simulate controlled substances (23 counts)and 16 counts of distribution of obscene matter.
Kentucky State Police say that last charge stems from some DVDs and magazines found in the store.
She was taken to the Hopkins County jail.

Our media partner in Madisonville, the Messenger, says troopers carried out boxes of evidence from Dusty’s Adult World in Morton’s Gap on Wednesday afternoon.
So far, no one has been arrested but County Attorney Todd P’Pool expects charges of trafficking a simulated controlled substance and illegal distribution of obscene matter will be filed.
Troopers say they believe the drugs are salvia but they need to be tested. Salvia is illegal in Kentucky.
