RESEDA, CA – While other studios are scrambling to announce their killer parody line up for the year, spraying all over the sitcom hits of yesteryear like overeager new puppies trying to claim their territory, David Lord, Jim Crawford, and their highly skilled production team are busy crafting spot on remakes of their favorite shows.
If last year proved anything it’s that you can’t claim a parody anymore. Lord knows that better than anyone. All you can do is make the best version you know how with award winning writers, producers, cinematographers, and directors.
With that in mind David Lord and Jim Crawford of Rebel Studios are proud to announce the first of the parodies they will be creating in 2010 will be porn tributes to CHiP’s and NITRO CIRCUS.
“We wanted to chose shows that we were passionate about,” explains Lord. “These are two of our favorites and we’ve got great scripts for them ready to go.”
With a background in Hollywood stunt work and motorcycle riding and a virtually unlimited special effects budget, Jim Crawford plans on pouring the love into both productions and taking these shows to new heights for the industry. Both shows will be distributed through Adam & Eve and heavily promoted by Rebel as well.
“If anyone else plans on making them, all we can say at this point is best of luck to you,” says Lord, “because you’re going to have some stiff competition.”
