Porn Valley- Sources tell me that Selena Silver who was on the Tampa Show guest list has been removed due to her recent controversies with KSEX.

>One of the more shocking developments in the porn industry is the apparent joining of forces between Chuck Zane and Rob Black. Apparently Alante is no longer repping Extreme Associates in the foreign market for reasons that one can only imagine. But, apparently, uncle Chuck has stepped up to the plate. Sources over in Amsterdam tell me Zane was at a recent show acknowledging that he was now with Extreme. If that's the case, this is one of those over my dead body sets of circumstances only porn can produce, seeing that Rob Black and Chuck Zane have been at each other's throats for years.

The reasons behind that can probably be best detailed by John Bowen who used to be a partner of Chuck Zane's. The fact that Bowen saw perhaps several dollars unaccounted for during that partnership would indicate that there could be interesting days ahead for Z&B.

"That was what Rob wanted from the beginning," Bowen conjectures. "I go back to the very beginning when Rob wanted to get into the business. No one would take him seriously. He made a movie, something like Tales from the Cellar with his inheritance. He came out here flat broke. He was calling me to mediate with Chuck, so that Chuck would distribute his product and they could work together. In fact, when Rob very first started, he put the name Rob Zane on his product and Chuck threatened him and made him take the Zane name off. There was a big family fight over that.

"Because, going way back, Chuck and Dominic, Rob's father were partners," Bowen continues. "They were the Zane Brothers calling themselves a legend in their own slime. That was the catchword on the side of the boxes. Eventually, Chuck bought Dominic out and he went back to the stores. Because Dominic was a Zane, Rob felt he had the right to bill himself as Rob Zane. And there was a huge to do over that. I was there. Chuck and I were partners at the time. So Chuck was vehemently against doing business with Rob. They said Rob was an idiot. He was the moron of the family. He wasn't fit to put boxes on the shelves. He would never do business with him."

It was then that Bowen was told, if he was so interested in this whole situation, why didn't he teach Matt Zane to make movies.

"I made a deal," said Bowen. "Matt came into my studio. He had a desk in my office. He sat with me for six months And I tought him how to make movies. That was his [Chuck's] alternative to helping out Rob. Rob was sleeping on a couch of one of the male porn stars who used to work for me all the time. But Rob was sleeping on a fucking couch. He was absolutely penniless and Chuck refused to have anything to do with him. Then the kid who's couch Rob was sleeping on took him into Elegant Angel and got him his deal. Rob was then getting $10,000 a picture and, all of a sudden, was a big guy and never looked back from that."
