HANGING ROCK, Ohio- -- World Wrestling Entertainment was conducting an internal investigation into the Ohio arrests of two of its stars on drug charges.

The WWE released a statement after the arrests of champion professional wrestlers Robert "Rob Van Dam" Szatowski and Terry "Sabu" Brunk [pictured], saying it has a substance abuse policy that calls for random drug testing, the Ironton (Ohio) Tribune reports.

The wrestlers were arrested after state police pulled their vehicle over for speeding in Hanging Rock, Ohio, Sunday night.

State police said Szatowski had 18 grams of marijuana and five Vicodin prescription pain pills while Brunk was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. They posted bond at the scene and a court date was not immediately set, authorities said.

The WWE said the stars would be allowed to participate in its "Raw" and "Extreme Championship" bouts until the legal case was resolved and its own investigation complete.
