Life seemed so normal at RHR until the earth shook this week, boulders rolled and out popped Wild Bill. This is the same buckaroo who for years shot women with, well, big boulders and fleshy asses.

Except the big news is that Wild Bill after being affiliated with Big Top Video for something like 20 years has made a career move and joined the Robert Hill troupe. It seems that Wild Bill was a little unsettled to learn that his former company had been releasing compilations as first-run movies and so Wild Bill opted to change corrals. Or in the immortal words of Wild Bill, go git ’em, boy.

So for Robert Hill, Wild Bill will be shooting all brand new material, never been out on the market, and, consequently, the company will be putting out a new Wild Bill title every month. But that’s not all. Now comes word that Robert Hill’s signed a deal for exclusive worldwide distribution on seven gay lines. With the formation of a separate company called White Tiger Releasing, www.whitetigerreleasing.com, Hill and the boys have added the product lines of D & E Productions; Surfside Studios, Pride Studios/Circle Jerk Boys; Eon Films, Daddy Boy Productions, Happy Endings Studios and Seymore Dicks Presents.

Rob Ragan, a 20 year vet of the business is handling the White Tiger operations.

“We were looking at bringing in a couple of gay lines,” Ragan explains. “We were pleasantly bombarded, as I call it because that’s what it was, with different lines that were coming at us in the gay and high-end gay. Because of the tremendous response, we had decided, rather than use an existing company to go ahead and form a brand new releasing company that specifically handles only gay lines. One thing led to another and we went from one guy- David Adamson from D&E Productions to a month later, seven exclusive worldwide contracts on mid-range to high end gay stuff. We formed White Tiger Releasing solely based on the idea that Robert Hill Releasing is its niche market and has already got its place.

“To start adding different stuff to Robert Hill would make it too crazy and take away from the transsexuals, the squirting and the specific lines of Wild Bill and Skeeter,” Ragan continues. “It was a very quick domino effect and the pleasant part for us is that we don’t have to deal with any of the models; we don’t have to deal with any of the production whatsoever. We deliver retail-ready finished product by seven different production lines. A couple of them such as Surfside Studios and D&E Productions have been around for quite some time and distributed by other people.

“Eon Films is the latest one that we took on a couple of days ago,” Ragan goes on to say. “That was initially going to be distributed by Marina Pacific. But the owner, Ashton, decided to come with us based on what David Adamson had said. He flew down here for three days with us, took a look at the operation- I told him the ideas that I had and how to promote professionally and properly. Apparently I impressed him enough that he went back down to Florida and told everybody that he knows that has decent product that he may have found some serious people that can present his stuff in the market place. Instantaneous gratification, I guess.”

But Ragan didn’t think White Tiger would be adding more companies any time soon.

“That’s because our hands are full and I want to spend my time concentrating on promoting and distributing.” Ragan goes on to emphasize that the deals he’s made involve worldwide rights.

“As well with White Tiger being a new company, one of the things that we’re trying to promote or stress is that we’re actively seeking sales people that understand the gay industry,” says Ragan.
