This weeks Jack Venice Dope of the Week award goes to … Max Hardcore

The law comes into play with both nominees this week with Ron “Don Hollywood” Miller all but encouraging his clients not to cooperate with an investigation by Cal-OSHA and the LA Heath Department and Max Hardcore who, unless he gets an appeal, will be going to prison this Thursday.

Max wins this week’s Dope of the Week award with this fine quote: "I'm not down, I'm up, man," he said. "This is a challenge I've got to face, and face it I will. I know that our industry has been accepted by the public."

Well, Max, it’s nice that you have a positive attitude with the future you face. However, I really don’t think ALL the public has accepted the adult industry since that same public in Tampa sentenced you to 46 months in prison as a result of your conviction on multiple obscenity offenses.

This week’s Media Whore Award Nominees are … Former Miss USA & new Vivid girl, Kelli McCarty … Verne Troyer

Has-beens dominate this week’s Media Whore nominees. Former Miss USA 1991, Kelli McCarty, made a big splash this week saying she loves sex so much that this B-movie hack has decided to star in an X-rated film production for Vivid. Then we have everyone’s favorite half-pint actor Vern Troyer coming out and saying he had a 3 Playmate orgy at the Playboy mansion.

Vern wins the Media Whore award mainly because he wants it both ways, so to speak. First, I kinda know what she is trying to say, but this Einstein takes two completely different subjects and tries to make them one. Sure, gay couples don’t have the same rights as do married couples. But if she has information about a gay person being refused treatment at a hospital, that’s not only a gay rights issue, that’s a civil rights issue.
