This week’s Norman Einstein Award winner is the Cheetah Club in Corpus Christi Texas. These riders on the Brain Dead Express hired a 14-year-old girl as a stripper and are now suing the girl and her parents claiming they were tricked into giving her the job.
“She came (into the club) with 6-inch stiletto heels and a miniskirt and looked just like a model from a Miss America’s contest,” said one Einstein. As part of the lawsuit, the Cheetah Club also wants a judge to declare that the club didn’t intend to hire a minor.
Police arrested the club manager and charged him with employment harmful to a minor and sexual performance of a child. However, this Einstein’s attorney, another genius, said his client is not guilty because the girl looked “very mature.”
A Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission officer scoffed at that characterization. “I’ve seen this young lady’s picture, and I assure you she is a 14-year-old seventh-grader,” said the officer.
To seal the deal on this week’s award, the Cheetah Club also is suing the Corpus Christi Police Chief because he issues permits for sexually oriented businesses in the city.

The Dope of the Week Award winner is the County of Los Angeles Department of Health Services.
Last week these dopes reported that there were at least 16 unpublicized cases of HIV in adult film performers that had been reported to them since 2004. This week they kicked that number up to 18 cases. But they also admitted those cases were mislabeled as adult performers when, in fact, information about their occupation is unclear. “We have no information on these individuals,” said Dr. Jonathan Fielding, Chief Dope.
Dr. Johnny, went on to say that the county did little investigation of any of the post-2004 cases and have few details about the individuals, their partners or how they may have been infected. He also said that the rate of sexually transmitted diseases such as chlamydia and gonorrhea among adult performers is high and that any cases of HIV are to be taken seriously.
Get your facts correct and do a little investigating before you kickoff another fire storm, you dopes. Better yet, start doing your job.

Soderbergh later told Tarts that he looked closely at the script, but decided “it wasn’t necessary” to include sex scenes in the film.
So there is no misunderstanding: this film COULD have had 3 sex scenes. No sex scenes were actually shot. No sex scenes ended up on the cutting room floor. The director just decided the film didn’t need it. This whole “sex scene” story is actually something about nothing. But this story somehow gets mainstream press coverage. Amazing, the quintessential media whore.

This week’s Norman Einstein honorable mention winner is Desert Divas accountant Peter Shifman. Einstein was sentenced to three years in prison and ordered to pay a $100,000 after he pleaded guilty to money laundering and wire fraud in connection with the case.
He receives his award not for what he did, but for the stunningly stupid quotes he gave during an interview while he was in jail.
Einstein says he believed Desert Divas was a “legitimate escort service.” Now that’s an oxymoron. He also claims he researched the company and discovered that it always renewed its business license on time and had no history of civil complaints. Hey, Einstein, a ripped off John rarely goes to a lawyer. Shifman goes on to say he initially had little contact with the ladies and when he did it was strictly for accounting questions. However, several women claimed that “you would have to be stupid to not know it was a prostitution business,” according to court records.
Enjoy your trophy in jail, Einstein. But don’t try to eat it because it isn’t made of chocolate.
