Porn Valley- Skeeter Kerkove, before heading out to Colorado and subsequently the Bahamas for several weeks, calls to say adios.
At the same time, Skeeter's very complimentary about the job publicist Jeff Mullen's doing with Not the Bradys XXX.
"He's creating the right drama by sending out the right press releases that makes them take notice," Skeeter notes. "I watched the trailer, and I was laughing. I thought his art direction is right on the money. I used to watch the show."
"I kissed Eve Plumb," Skeeter also confesses. "We went to school together for two years while she was in the show. How many pornographers do you know went to school with Eve Plumb? [Jan Brady.]
"We went to school together at The Valley School of Training on Sherman Way in Van Nuys," Skeeter continues.
"It was a private school. And when she wasn't on the set or at home with the tutors, she'd be there and we'd take the same bus home."
"And her parents were awesome- I even went to one of her birthday parties one time."
[Skeeter insists that he wore bandanas even in the second grade.]
"Eve Plumb looked exactly like she did on the show- she had the long hair and the front of her bangs were really long. I went to her house once for this birthday party and it was really cool. There was no way to know that you were at the house of a girl who was on an extremely popular show who was making very good money then. I got wo kises on the lips."
"Then we'd just sit on the bus and talk and I'd get a kiss goodbye," Skeeter recalls. "That's what little kids do."
I tell Skeeter that the Valley School of Training almost sounds like a dog academy.
"It was a fucked up school," admits Skeeter. "I got hit on more than one occasion with a wooden paddle that had holes in it. I was scared to tell my mom and dad. Then one day the principal who was probably gay- why else would you want to hit a long haired skinny blond boy with a paddle- this one day I ran away from school. I didn't go on the bus. I was reported missing. I was at this hot dog stand called Beeps [great cheese steaks by the way].
"That's where I stayed and I finally got the nerve to call my mom and my dad. They came and got me and I explained to my dad that I'd been hit several times before with this wooden paddle. So they took me out of the school."
"The cool thing was that Eve Plumb always had these snacks because sometimes the bus ride home was two hours depending which route they took home."
"But I am so impressed with the press Jeff Mullen has created. Everybody in porn wants to do this thing called mainstream and all the other studios are now trying to come up with an idea that will get them as much press."
