from www.ocregister.com - The OC Register had the following exchange with Amanda Seyfried regarding her Lovelace role. From what she says about the nudity we have even less reason to see it.
Q. Did you see “Lovelace” as a risky career move?
A. Not really. Nudity is nothing to me.
Q. Have you done nudity before?
A. Yes, in “Chloe.” When necessary, and when it’s done well, people don’t notice the nudity.
Q. No offense, but I was a little surprised when you were cast as Linda Lovelace. Was it difficult?
A. It was, and I still haven’t had time to absorb it all. I play her from 21, when she was doing “Deep Throat,” through her religious years in her 30s. It was such an incredible experience. I should be talking about “Gone,” but all I can think about is “Lovelace.”
Q. That’s OK. We don’t mind. Were there a lot of sex scenes in the movie?
A. Well, yeah. There was a lot going on (laughs). She was a porn star, after all.
Q. How did you maintain the R rating?
A. There is no full-frontal nudity. Nothing is shown down below, for personal reasons.
Q. For personal reasons?
A. I want to save something for my husband.
