Angelica Lane Posts: I been to L.A. like 5 time in the past year and a half. I really like it here a lot. The people I meet are just great. Not only in the business but all around.
But this time of the year it just seems everyone just gets into the spirit of giving. Because of Christmas? YES… I always been a person that liked to help and give to people.
On Tuesday night after a late shoot I got picked up by Satan and we stopped at the golden arches for dinner, I love the 2 cheeseburger value meal. When in the parking lot where we parked, a man was digging in the trash and eating out of it. I got so sad, like it really broke my heart. I looked over at Satan and told him lets give him our food. So we did, and the look on his face was priceless.
He said he was there for hours and we had been the first people to help him. We went back the next day to find him after he told us he is there everyday to give him a $100 food gift certificate but no where to be found. I don’t have a lot, but some people have nothing. I use to hear my dad say, They can get off their lazy asses and go to work. I don’t believe that is true anymore. Job cuts are hurting everyone. I was at a fast food restaurant yesterday in Hollywood when a young teen walked in and asked for an application and the manager responded by saying, sorry young lady we are not hiring right now, we laid off 5 workers in the past few weeks. This was a top 3 fast food chain, I know because I looked it up. Lololol (Shut up and don’t question me.) But at Christmas time, the busiest time of the year, a fast food chain is hurting.
WOW…We can blame everyone, from shipping things in from overseas ,ECT.. From having the worse president our generation of young adults ever had. To the oil companies killing us while making record profits.
At the end of the day those 10 people effect millions of lives in a negative way. So I decided, I can’t help the world and I can’t help a lot of people but for the first time in my life I’m going to help some kids that need it.
We all need to stop at some point in the day and just stare at the other person when we are sitting at a light. They may have just lost the job they have been at for 30 years. When you are walking down the street and you see a family living in their car on your side street, remember they use to have Christmas dinner in their home and received a check and bonus from the company that just moved out of the country.
Do something you have never ever done before. Invite them in for a dinner.
I will be spending money tonight I don’t have for kids that deserve it. So join myself and Tony Batman (www.tonybatman.com) from A! Entertainment at Sardos in Burbank TO GIVE A LITTLE. If you are not into the adult business, if you don’t like bars, just stop by and ask for me and I will come outside and get the toy from you. I will have my camera with me and I will take a few pictures with you for a $10 toy. No funny stuff boys..LOLOL..
