Porn Valley- I was talking to Skeeter Kerkove Friday afternoon. And you can say what you will about him, but no one I know is as piped into the business as Skeeter.
Except maybe for the Grand Vizier. I had heard news this morning that because of the imminent Bo Kenney lawsuit against Eli Cross, Kylie Ireland’s company Slut Werkz was in deep shit.
The Grand Vizier told me, “Eli Cross is in a world of hurt on a number of fronts- most of it is stemming from Kylie Ireland’s Slut Werkz. They got investment money which is being called back. There’s also a good possibility that Eli did some fancy paperwork on the Adam & Eve budget, The 8th day."
"Ireland tried getting a distribution deal for Slut Werkz with SexZ Pictures, but SexZ wanted no part of it, so Cross and Ireland had to go finance it themselves. They eventually found some people to back it and now those markers are being called in. Eli’s been robbing Peter to pay Paul all over the place to stay afloat and it’s causing some tension in the home front.”
On one occasion, Cross hired Ireland to appear in a black girl movie, Black Booty, for SexZ Pictures. She was paid $1800 because Cross made the argument that her being a star name would sell the movie better, regardless of the fact that it was a black girl movie.
Skeeter said he was willing to go one better, that he had heard from one of the people on SexZ's Icon shoot, who helped on the paperwork, that Cross admitted he profited very handsomely from the shoot. Very handsomely. That Bo Kenney don’t know how handsome.
According to Skeeter’s sources, Cross was already at Vivid Friday morning looking for a deal but because of the Internet brouhaha about the lawsuit, Vivid wasn’t listening. Cross, in the past, got a couple of deals with Vivid thanks to strings pulled by Paul Fishbein and Tim Connelly.
And it was Skeeter who first told me how Cross stabbed Otto Bauer in the back on a gonzo deal with Kenney’s company. Otto lost out on the gig because of negative comments Cross made.
