Porn Valley- Thursday afternoon I spoke to David the owner of a relatively new website, www.strippersociety.com. It's going into its fourth month of operation, and David describes the site as a myspace for the strip club industry.

"It's a lot more detailed than what myspace is," he says. "It's basically an advertising networking portal for strippers, customers and clubs". The site also provides for member-to-member e-mails, profiles and has an extensive forum section. There's also an advertisers mall with forum sponsors and people who want to target both the girls that work in the industry as well as the customers.

"It's innovative in that no one's done anything quite like it yet," says David.

While specifically, not an adult site, strippersociety.com deals only with girls who work in actual clubs.

"There's no outcall, no hookers or escorts or anything like that on there," David states. Based himself out of Vegas, David offers an example of how this works.

"You got a girl who might work out of Sapphire," he continues. "She can go on and create her profile, upload lots of photos and she can answer all the bio questions and advertise herself. The whole goal is to bring business for the girl into the clubs. So a guy goes online. He's now able to do a city search with photos if he wants to and basically find the girl that he thinks he might be interested in. Then he can send her direct member-to-member e-mail and contact her and set up an appointment to see her at the club and get lap dances. If guys are doing bachelor parties, they can network directly, e-mailing the club or the different girls they might want to work the bachelor party at whatever club."

The member girls can also retain their VIP customers at the club through a safe network of communication without giving their phone numbers or things of that nature, David also points out.

"This way a guy who's a VIP customer even one time can be given a card with the girl's screen and stage name. He can log on to the site and contact her, letting her know the next time he's going to be in town.

"Now she can set up her own business to bring into the club," David continues. "This way she's not entirely dependent on how good the night's going to be, or whatever the club is going to bring in."
