Update: Metro Announces Re-Organization

Northridge, CA – Metro Interactive announced today that an extensive reorganization of it’s production scheduling and it’s overall business plan will commence immediately. This re-org is directly related to the cancellation of its licensing agreement with Zeist Technologies.

“Metro will re-launch with a bold new outlook and a company-wide commitment for creating stronger products and top-notch quality entertainment.” stated Rick Porras, the companies VP of Operations.

“I am excited with the new direction the company is taking and happy to return back to the original Metro Entertainment Group leadership that was responsible for the true success of this company.”

The company has added Alexandra Taylor as Special Projects Manager to assist in creating and developing new upscale productions and enhance its award winning brands. As a 20 year film industry professional with an extensive business and management background Alexandra has spent the past decade writing, directing and producing for major companies and most recently for Girlfriends Films.

She will oversee all new content produced for Metro lines, with the primary focus being on building the premier line, Cal Vista, with a powerful slate of original concepts.

“My main focus is for Metro to once again become an industry leading company. By working closely with the company’s creative team and their dedicated staff, Metro will surely be a force to be reckoned with,” stated Ms. Taylor.

The production schedule for 2010 across all Metro lines, including its award winning ethnic line Video Team and its popular Loaded Digital line is topped with exciting, quality concepts that will propel the new creative and business visio
