Porn Valley- Only hours after a mysterious press release in which she announced that she was splitting from her husband, Vicky Vette's husband Frank has been found dead. According to information supplied by Jason Sechrest, Vette's husband was found by an acquaintance he was staying with. The cause of death was unclear.
In the press release, Vette cited eighteen years of physical and mental abuse and that earlier this month she had him arrested after three straight days of beatings. That incident happened prior to the AEE show and, as a result, Vette wasn't able to attend due to a busted lip, chronic headache, damage to her ear drums and severe bruises on her body. A restraining order was currently in place. VETTE's statement was to say that the separation and pending divorce would not in any way affect her participation in the industry.
"I have begun divorce proceedings and therapy to overcome this painful obstacle that I let rule my life for way too long," Vette said in her statement. "I have tried to break from him several times in the past, but he has always managed to manipulate his way back into my life. This time I am going to be strong and go through with it. He will probably go to jail, so he's obviously very bitter and has been trying to his best to harm me, my reputation and my business. I apologize for any confusion that may occur in the meantime and I also apologize to anyone who has been affected by this. I love this business and I don't intend to skip a beat." According to Sechrest, police have ruled the death a suicide and that Vette would not comment on the matter.
AVN is also reporting that it had received a letter allegedly written by Frank accusing Vette of membership in the National Alliance, a violent white supremacist group. According to what Frank wrote, this was the reason why she wouldn't do interracial scenes. Frnak also claimed that the U.S. Department of Justice is investigating his allegations.
According to Sechrest it was Frank who was a member of the group and was trying to smear his wife because she was leaving him. Sechrest says that Vette is already planning to do an interracial scene.
