CLEARWATER, FL — Personifying the theme of their 2013 convention, ED Publications, producers of the Annual Gentlemen’s Club Owners EXPO, have announced that Steven Hirsch, founder and co-chairman of Vivid Entertainment Group, will deliver the event’s Keynote Address.

This year’s EXPO will be centered around one thing, and one thing only: Money. Specifically, how to make more—and keep more—in a very competitive
environment. The 2013 EXPO, to be held August 20-22 at the Mandalay Bay
Hotel Resort & Casino, will mark the 21st year of the multi-billion dollar
adult nightclub industry’s only national convention and tradeshow.

“Given that 2013 is the year of The MONEY EXPO, Steven Hirsch is the
perfect keynoter for our adult club owners to talk about how to be
financially successful in the tricky arena of adult entertainment,” says ED
Publisher Don Waitt.

As founder and co-chairman of Vivid Entertainment Group—the most recognizable adult production studio in America and internationally—Hirsch’s vision of erotica has systematically transformed the XXX-film business into the mainstream entity and pop culture powerhouse audiences relish the world over. After three decades in business, Hirsch and Vivid have consistently led the genre’s evolution. Vivid’s impact has been felt beyond cinema as well, where the label has found itself on a variety of products and mediums ranging from snowboards to vodka to their very own cable channels and Las Vegas nightclub.

Hirsch and his company are credited with stabilizing the public’s perception of modern adult entertainment, and in 2009, Forbes magazine estimated that the Vivid brand was generating an estimated $100 million a year in revenue.

The Annual Gentlemen’s Club Owners EXPO draws more than 3,000 attendees,
including over 1,700 club owners, general managers, and club personnel from
individual clubs and club chains. Other EXPO attendees include liquor,
beer and wine distributors; food and beverage companies; club furnishings
and bar products companies; attorneys, architects, club brokers and insurance specialists; and sound, lighting and staging companies.

EXPO 2013 attendees can count on three days of must-attend workshops and
panel sessions geared toward club owners, general managers and other key
club personnel; two days of a 300-booth tradeshow with vendors showcasing
their latest products and services; two evening parties that are equal
parts networking and enjoyable fun; and the 16th Annual ED Awards Show,
honoring the industry’s top adult nightclubs and entertainers.
