Sean writes: XBiz announced their nominations for the Best Performer Website of the Year. Twenty lucky lady’s sites made their list. Before the end of the year we’ll be posting our reviews of each of their nominated sites and a few of our own that didn’t make their list. Then we’ll award the first ever Adultfyi Adult Website of the Year.
After looking at Jesse Jane’s site I’m wondering why XBiz would even have considered it for nomination. It isn’t even close to being an actual performer’s website in the true sense.
JesseJane.com is really nothing more than a feeder site for its owner, Digital Playground.
Notwithstanding, much of the content features Jesse and meets the industry standard of videos and photos. Yet it doesn’t come close to having a personal feel to it like other stars’ sites. Once a fan gets past the content there isn’t anything more that would entice them to join.
Most single star enterprises offer fans at least a mild attempt at a star’s biography or live shows. This site doesn’t even have a personal blog or even a Twitter link. It’s just too sterile to be an attraction for a fan of Jesse’s to whip out their credit card and pay $29.99 a month for a membership.
A star’s name will garner interest from fans, but to paraphrase an old saying, this site is all sizzle and no steak.
