Las Vegas- www. iPorns.com is the country's first web site entirely geared toward downloadable adult entertainment.
The site made its debut this week at the Adult Video News (AVN) Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas. iPorns(TM) provides movie formats that are compatible with portable media devices.
The company expects consumers to download movies and watch them at their convenience while traveling, commuting to work and during their leisure time at home, in parks, beaches, and other public spaces.
"Like other forms of entertainment, consumers want to watch programming that interests them at their convenience, so we expect that people will watch porn films in places other than the privacy of their bedroom," said David Joseph, chief executive officer. "Technology gives us the opportunity to provide this service. We're calling this porn on the pod!"
iPorns(TM) was founded by Joseph who also serves as CEO of Red Light District and Platinum X films, leading adult entertainment companies that specialize in producing hard-core "gonzo" films. Red Light District is best known for their blockbuster, "One Night in Paris," featuring America's favorite celebutante. While films from his companies will be featured, iPorns(TM) also will offer films from other production companies.
Joseph adds, "iPorns also provides immediate access to consumers who may be too embarrassed to shop in adult video stores or who don't want to wait for a tape to be mailed. iPorns can provide almost immediate gratification."
The cost to download a movie ranges from $1.99 to $12.99. The price is based on the length of a scene or the amount of a movie a consumer wants to view.
