Recent events have brought data breaches and privacy concerns to the forefront of the adult industry, with a new platform, Adult Cyber Mart, claiming to reveal information akin to a "Porn WikiLeaks." This development follows a significant data breach at Pornhub and recalls the historical impact of the original Porn Wikileaks website.
Pornhub Breach and User Data
On December 17, 2025, it was reported that Pornhub confirmed an unauthorized party gained access to analytics data stored with Mixpanel, a third-party data analytics service provider. This unauthorized access allowed the extraction of a limited set of analytics events for some users. Pornhub stated that this was not a breach of Pornhub Premium’s systems and that no passwords, credentials, payment details, or government IDs were compromised or exposed. The company secured the affected account and stopped the unauthorized access.
However, ImmuniWeb’s Ilia Kolochenko warned that if allegations of 201,211,943 records of Pornhub’s Premium users being compromised are true, including detailed historical search, watch, and download activity, this data breach could surpass the 2016 Adult Friend Finder (AFF) data breach. The incident raised concerns about user search and view history being leaked, prompting a surge in VPN usage as users sought to avoid identity or age verification for adult content.
The Original Porn Wikileaks
The concept of "Porn WikiLeaks" has historical precedent. Porn Wikileaks was a wiki website that contained personal information, including the real names, of over 15,000 pornographic actors. This information originated from a patient database managed by AIM Medical Associates, a clinic where many pornographic film performers were tested for sexually transmitted diseases. AIM Medical Associates subsequently closed due to lawsuits caused by the leaks.
Adult performer Christian XXX stated that the site posted his real name, the real names of his parents, pictures of them, their home address and telephone number, the name and picture and phone number of his brother, and a picture of the cemetery where his grandfather recently passed away, in addition to claiming he had HIV. Kimberly Kane criticized the website, stating that most in the porn industry knew who was behind it, attributing it to hatred for a business that shunned him. The man referred to denied connections to the site beyond having an account there. A connection between PornWikiLeaks and GirlsDoPorn was established in a trial against GirlsDoPorn, where photos shared only with the men behind GirlsDoPorn.com, and then deleted, appeared on PornWikiLeaks.
In August 2019, Bang Bros purchased Porn Wikileaks and subsequently shut it down, posting a video of hard drives being set on fire.
