Porn Valley- Last month I talked to Kerv a man who owns a house- a very nice house I might add - because I've seen it. And Kerv is a very nice man. I know because I've met him and have taken a walk-through tour of the very nice home. It's an immense home, elegantly decorated, with considerable private parking, and windows tinted to prevent views from the street. And Kerv wants to rent it to the industry. Except Kerv had a falling out in a business deal with talent agent Skooby regarding said house http://adultfyi.com/read.aspx?ID=8805.
As a result, Skooby has been allegedly calling the cops in an attempt to disrupt shoots at this house. Kerv has called Scooby a "cop caller" and Jon Dough is one of the directors who had the cops called on him. I spoke to Kerv Monday and he tells me the matter has been far from resolved that he and Skooby have had words just recently.
"I think I have a great location," says Kerv. But the cops still show up at his house. Kerv's paperwork is certainly in order and he has the necessary permits, insurance, etc. I know because I've seen all of it, and the cops discovered that on their last visit. "This guy [Skooby] called me last Wednesday out of the blue," says Kerv. "He's telling me that he's going to continue to call the police, that he knows I don't have permits. He said, ' I'm going to bring you down because you're in my world and you screwed me.' "
Besides going through all the necessary redtape and bullshit, Kerv has gotten signatures from his neighbors that they're cool with the shoots. Kerv tells me the cops, nonetheless, came by last week during a West Coast shoot. Kerv was told that a neighbor called. Which neighbor he wanted to know. According to Kerv, the cops couldn't tell him specifically. Kerv then provided all the signatures of his neighbors along with a permit. Kerv then told the cops he suspected a disgruntled former business associate was at the root of these calls. He gave the cops, who requested the information, Skooby's name and phone number. "If they contacted him I don't know but I gave them the information," says Kerv. "I think I have a very nice location and furniture."
Which is putting it mildly. It's a very, very fine house.
