Burbank, CA- The Tranny Awards have gone Hollywood—they are moving the event to Joseph’s Café in the heart of Hollywood on February 19th. The red carpet will be at 8:30, the awards will start at 10 PM, and the fun won’t end until 2 AM. The MC/Host will be Nicole Paige Brooks from Season 2 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race”, Domino Presley will be working the red carpet and doing live interviews and DJ Chelsea Malone from NYC Tranny Strip will be spinning all night. There will be a photo booth, plenty of bartenders on hand, valet parking and a VIP area for sponsors.
“The awards mean a lot to me and I can’t have the event at a place at a place that doesn’t want us and places too many restrictions on our night,” says Steven Grooby of Grooby Productions. “Robert from Joseph’s has bent over backwards to make the evening special and the whole venue is ours all night. The evening should be a smashing success and perhaps the best show we’ve thrown—it’s our fourth show and four is definitely the charm.”
