Porn has become a very strange and awkward business. The Hal Freeman decision gave porn the right to shoot in California, but not the right to watch it judging by the numerous attempts over the years to drag porn producers into a courtroom then into a jail cell.
But from now on every time there’s a porn shoot in California, someone will be breaking a law of some kind. At least that’s the impression gathered from this week’s meeting called by Cal/OSHA and attended by 70-some members of the porn community.
Another impression you get from that meeting is that porn people, like little kids, don’t like to be told to finish their supper and when to go to bed.

Florida? Yeah, once porn makes its announcement to move to the Sunshine State, Sheriff Grady Judd and all his buddies will be manning the welcome wagon and their .357 Magnums at the borders. Reality Kings is one thing. A gaggle of Reality Kings is another. Shady Grady’s guys once pumped 68 slugs into a perp for shits and giggles. Sheriff Grady likes porn even less.
